anyone able to bring/transport a bike (road) from Kroonstad to Durban?

Get yourself a 2X 65 inch TV box . Turn brake levers , handle bars and peddles facing into the frame . There is enough polystyrene in those boxes to wrap and secure derailleur and cranks  . Use the second box to put the wheels in and strap both boxes together . Use a courier and insure for full value . At worst its R600 to anywhere in SA

Just get a bike box from your LBS, Take the handlebar off at the stem and make sure everything is well protected by bubble wrap or polystyrene. Courier is a good and quick option as mentioned by FirstV8.
