I wouldn't really call either a FD or dropper complex

I would put it more as useless relic replaced by the best thing to happen to mtbs in the last 10 years.

 

Complex from the perspective that both devices require consideration when being used. At least with a front derailleur it's lack of use results in bit of a hike but sooooo many droppers are just ornaments.... You know cos you gotta have one

I then have to get a direct mount oval with 3mm offset - narrow wide?
