Eastern Cape Group Rides and Road Routes Port Elizabeth

Hi All.

 

I'm looking for group rides and safe road routes that are often used by people in Port Elizabeth. 

 

I'm rather new to the road cycling here and don't know many safe areas for riders.

There is a daily ride that starts in Walmer - all the bikshops know where the start is - think it's 5am - big group.

As V12man said, the bike shops know the routes and groups that ride daily.

I can recommend the Figtree bunch 5.15 am Tuesdays and Thursdays. As well as 6.30 am Sundays.

Cape road past Makro, Draaifontein and Seaview roads are generally safe with many Cyclists using these roads over weekends.
