option.[/quote'] Just make sure that get someone who knows what they are doing to install them. They have little marking on the side so that you can adjust them to suit your style of riding.

 

My other suggestion is have the derailure set up so that you can use the full run of the cluster and dont stress about granny.

 

Final tip - change gears gently especially in the begining and never force the change from middle to big blade on a climb.

Ek het selle tandem. Het my cassette replace met ene wat 'n 11 het. Downhills kan mens ook net so vinnig gaan. As dit 'n style ene is sal jy anyway uitspin no matter what gear. En as jy 'n 56x11 probeer stoot, beter jy baie sterk wees... Ek ry nou 52x11 en op downhills sukkel single ryers met 53x11 om te hak op the tandem bloot oor 'n tandem se momentum.

Race Chick, luister na die Oom en koop eerder vir jou iets nice!!!!!!!! Vergeet van daai chainrings wat soos eiers lyk. Kry vir jou 'n 54 tand groot ring en maksimum 55 tand. 56 sit net TE veel vereistes op jou voorste derraileur en julle gaan begin kettings breek en drop. Later eendag as julle ge-gel het as 'n tandem team kan julle die flywheel probeer!!!!!!!!!

52x11 is a faster gear than a 55x12.

 

I rate it would also be cheaper to replace the cassette than the big chainring, and require less hassle to move the front derailleur around.
