International bike insurance

Hi guys/girls

I’m currently insured through cyclesure. I’m happy with them but if my bike is out of the country for more than 6 months consecutively they can not cover it. I’m looking for a company that can cover my bike comprehensively while I’m out of the country, it is mostly like 9 month stints.

Looks good but you have to be a resident in the UK.

Why would you want to insure it here when you're in another country for 9 months. Insure it locally wherever you are

It's a UK company, yes, but they also have branches in other countries. Living in Germany at the moment and have all of our bikes insured with them. (In Germany they currently don't cover races like Cyclesure used to.)

Ah. I just clicked on a can they cover me link and it said that you have to reside in the uk. I go home twice a year so cycle sure said the 6months resets each time I enter the country so I’ll stick with them.
