Lol... We use it for the event same reason [emoji23]

It works a charm!

My entire house is smart so every light etc is linked in through Home Assistant to Alexa. 

I dont think I have touched a light switch in the last 6 months, I just yell at Alexa to turn things on if an automation hasnt already done it.
