Hi There guys...

can anyone tell me if they are familiar with the Diamondback DB4L dual susp mtb??

I'm looking at getting it for my kid and want to find out if it's any good or not etc

Posted

I don't know that specific model but DiamondBack is a good brand that has been around for ages. Do you have more info on the particular bike? 2nd hand or new? Price and spec?

Thanks LWB....

Not really now.

Friend of mine maybe wants to give it to me for free....never say no for a gift.

She said it was an expensive bike, not sure, her husband passed and its standing there in the garage.

So yes, I will take it, just wasn't sure about the make etc.

Will go and check it out more and inform you

Greetings

Diamondback make some very good bikes, however, the only ones that we see in SA are the cheap and nasty ones that you get at Makro.

It's possible that this one is a special import and is one of the better ones, however, considering that they are prepared to give it to you, I'm thinking that it is one of the cheaper ones. (for a non-cyclist, R2 000 is considered expensive).

But hey, as you said, it is for free, so take it.

I only saw your post of the specs after I posted the above. The specs look pretty decent and it is definately better than what you get at Makro.
