Cicli Barco xcr chameleon

This is my custom built bike which started from last May and completed in October (almost)

 

Made by Cicli Barco fro columbus xcr tubing and custom painted in chameleon colour which making all the kind of play between, blue, purple etc.

 

Bike exceeded my expectations and came out fully built and dressed at 7.187 kg but is going to hit the 6.67 after some upgrades that I have plan. As it is its really very unique machine, well climber, excellent descenter and superb sprinter which has nothing to jealous from modern so called hi end carbon ones. It is such a good balanced and confidence inspiring machine which gives the idea that even without a rider it will still carry on.

 

This was a dream came true as I did a lot of search, asking planning and investigation. The other reason that I went to something like that is that I wanted to reward my self for the fight I gave through several years with my self and my health.

 

First off all I was 135 kg and smoking 3 pkts a day up to one moment that I said enough and few tears after I managed to get free of my weight and cigarettes going down to 88 kg and still continue.

 

This was made possible by exercise and diet at the beginning and then I found my love in cycling that's up to one horrible morning that a car rim me through because the driver (women) was absence with her phone finding my the next day in the ER.

 

I spend in the ER 22 days and tottaly in the bed without moving for 5 months. Almost came nearly to amputation of my right leg due to infection and 5 surgeries I am nearly good but not as I was due to nerves damage left and post arthritis. Nevertheless I am proud of my self and didn't backed down instead I fought and I am still fighting hard biking almost every day and I exceed my self even before my accident despite the problems that I have, that is why I wanted something unique.
