cracked frame, please help!

Flippa, yes, that is a common place for RDS's to break. I have heard of LOTS breaking on that exact same spot. Luckily the RDS that I had didn't break. It is sold now though.

Dumb question, Why is there a weld there? Surely one piece of tubing would make more sense?

No idea hey, I also through it quite unneeded... Best bet is to check if Raleigh has a replacement swingarm for you.

I got a mail from Conrad this mornng and the replacement swing arm is on the way to the LBS as we speak!

That  is the only bad part about dual suss bikes. You only get a new swing arm. If it were a HT you get a complete new frame. Hope the colours match.

 get mine today or Monday. HT that is. They are replacing a 2005 frame with a 2008.

Dropped the bike off at FPC Irene about 30min ago and should have it back on Monday.

im pretty sure you can claim a warrente(sorry bout the spelling). Go to you LBS and ask them to send it back to Pro Bike
