Fork Paintjob Advice

I wanted to have my MTB's fork powder coated with some other parts, I am, advised against this as the fork may be of an alloy compound and will react not as intended.

So, can someone recommend an different long lasting application with an contact detail?

Why not just paint and the wrap with VPS? Powder coat isn't impervious anyway and an absolute ballache, near impossible, to touch up. Paint and wrap will keep it looking good and no risk to alloys.
