Cuts in road tyres-how to fix?

Cut a piece of handlebar tape to size of the cut and stick it on the inside of the tyre. Its also stretchable with the tyre. works fine.

But wouldnt trust a cut tyre at high speeds.

 

Mercx, what glue do u use. I tried to patch the tyre on inside and the glue for tubes does not seem to do the trick. Just do not seem to want to stick..!

 

Anyone else that can recommend a specifiec glue

Okay guys' date=' just to let you know that the best super glue for the money you obtain from your hobby shop. It's called Cyno bond and cost about R30-R45 a bottle. The stuff easely lasts a year. You can even forget to close it and it will not dry up immediately.

I agree, cyno bond can glue your fingers together faster than you know whats happened, if you stick it in the fridge it lasts even longer.  If that doesnt glue a cut tyre together not much will.

get some duct tape use a small piece folded up as a bit of a cushion and then put another piece on top of it and stick it on top of the cut
