NORTHERNS FARM HIPPO UPDATE

I'm on the farms mailing list.

 

Got a mail update on the Farm including trail upgrades , bookings, races etc.

 

Was interested to also get an update on the hippo.

 

Our celebrity hippo is alive and well moving between 2 of the main dams, we last saw him on the 3rd of February at Fish Eagle dam. Evidence drawn from spoor now suggests that there are 2 hippo in the area and we are monitoring the situation closely with the Endangered Wildlife Trust. Remember that Northern Farm is 1st and foremost a nature reserve. In terms of your safety there is no cause for concern at this point, warning signs have been posted and trails going close to any danger points have been rerouted.
