Converting my xx1 crank 2x10

Good day local hubbers, I am seeking some advice please. I have my old 2x10 xx1 crank coming off a 2014 Scott RC that I would like to convert to a 1by oval.

 

has anyone done this conversion before?

if so what do I need to look for?

looking for a 36 oval or 34 oval.

Hi,

you will need a 120 BCD chain ring, scarce as hen's teeth .

Wolftooth or garbaruk make them, I stand under correction that the smallest you can go is  36t

I did find amazon had , none at evobikes.

i'm not sure about oval ones and how to get the chainline / offset is not clear
