Good morning All

I hope this question is in the correct forum. I wanted to know if the bike on sale is a good choice - first time cycling since my childhood so not sure what to do. I intend riding on paved ground for now. Any comments are appreciated. It is second hand, not sure if worth the price.

The bike looks superficially good, I'm not sure though I am also new here.

I pray someone with more knowledge  can assist you, but your post is seemingly ignored.

Jared this is an outdated bike.

Very basic shock ....

Old school brakes ....

That is an old drive train .... check very carefully ... replacing this may cost more than the bike.

Similarly, all bearings are old .... a clean and re.lube may do the job, or it may require some replacement parts ..... just a set of tires and tubeless conversion is R1300 (cheap 26" tires)

Sad reality .... these 26" bikes are now relegated to kids bikes, or commuter bikes.

Bad news out the way .... this may be a nice option if want a cheap bike to start out on .....

Pleasure.

Serviced one for the neighbour last month.  And did the tubeless ... thus knowing the current prices.

For their use ... perfect bike.
