Cannondale 5mm Headset Top Cap KP253

Howdy,

I'm looking for a Cannondale 5mm Top Cap. Part Number KP253. This replaces the conical headset topcap, which as beautiful as it is makes things a little too tall in the stack height department.

Nobody stocks it. I've tried numerous Cannondale dealers and Omnico. There was one for sale on the Hub 3 years ago 😅

Not what you want to hear but I ended up ordering from Cannondale Spares in 2018. No luck locally.

Back then:
£7.99 for the top cap.
£4.50 for shipping.

The bike was sweet after that 👌

This is my Supersix. Also removed the cap and replaced it with a flat one. Don't have to be a Cannondale one. Most flat top caps will work as long as it compress the pressing ring fitted in the upper headset bearing. Mine fitted is from a Pro headset

Disappointing that there is no stock or willingness from the distributor to get in or assist.
