Iven Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 Please could those Hubbers who use Speedplay pedals give me some advice.Is the riding with these pedals different to other pedals (Shimano, Look etc)? Are the cleats a mission to maintain and do you need to take extra care with them such as putting caps on them when you walk? How long do a set of cleats last? Christie Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 The cleats are not a mission to maintain, but the aluminium plate on the bottom side of the cleat wears very quickly if you walk on them without cleat covers.Wether they are worth the extra cost, depends on how much you need the free float, and also what you compare them with.
Anthony Posted July 17, 2008 Posted July 17, 2008 best pedals i ever bought [was using spdr b4] the best thing about them is the adjustability of the cleats. the float that u get also has no resistance.
