Correct Road Use When Cycling

OVERDRIVE

Recommended Posts

Just saw this article about a cyclist unhappy with the truck passing her.

Here many cyclists will use the “cycle lane” between the grass and the reflectors, only expanding into the “road” when cycling abreast.

Regardless, truck should be wider. But where should she “ideally” be locally? Thoughts?

I don't think that is a cycle lane - it's the emergency lane/hard shoulder

Narrow country road, trucks and cycling. I feel that overseas they test the limits on purpose because they have the right.

A lot of people in cemetries beacuse they did the right thing.

We dont really have a choice in SA in using the gap between the yellow line and the grass, we know the outcome if we play chicken with a truck.

Id rather be alive than smeared across the road and in the right.
