It’s with great excitement that we can confirm the postponed Bikes2Blossoms MTB event will take place on Saturday, January 27, 2024. The Heritage Day extreme storms wreaked havoc on most of the existing routes, and we had no choice but to postpone the 2023 edition. Since the flood damage, the community of Elgin started repairing and restoring bridges and trails to the extent that they’re now in even better condition than before. Just rode some of the Elgin trails. The climbs are gentle and the tracks really come alive if you open it up on the descents with just enough tech to make them fun. They're smooth enough for a hardtail and even dare I say, a 26er. The Trails End owners have done a great job of restoring the bridges and tracks damaged by the late winter floods.
