NotSoBigBen Posted July 18, 2008 Share Anyone ever serviced a Manitou Black themselves or perhaps have a guide on how to? Are the necessary spares easy to come by? Guest Big H Posted July 18, 2008 Share BenI have a Manitou on my Gary Fisher. As far as I remember I downloaded the service manual from their site. Just be very carefull on my fork the rebound nut at the bottom of the slider has a Right hand screw thread. I broke the housing on mine when I tried to change the travel from 80mm to 100mm. The bike was brand new and not ridden yet and I had to wait a whole week for Cycles Africa (??????) to order one. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dirtbreath Posted July 19, 2008 Share I had my Manitou serviced by Cyclles Africa. Like new afterwards. If you call them they will get the spares to your LBS if you want to do it yourself. They will not sell to the public directly but I have found their service very good. I once even picked up my LBSs order which included mine 'cos I wanted it Now now now.
