So sorry to hear... So this has now become a hot spot basically the 4th mugging in as many weeks. So bleak as this is my daily commute 

What time did this happen? Also able to identify your perp?

It's seems all these muggings are happening at the plum pudding steep climb from Rhodes Memorial, perps are heading down towards the highway as their getaway... this leads towards hospital bend and they escape over into walmer/university estate

Sorry to hear but as cyclist, we need to start protecting ourselves. Have and will always be carrying weight and they will laydown should the day arise.

Sunday 4:40pm.  Rhodes mem was fairly busy about 20 cars in the parking lot. Walkers, joggers and dogs all around.

One coloured man, about 25 years old.

Curly black hair and unshaven, loose fascial hair. 

About 1,7m tall slender build 70kg

White t shirt, black track pants, grey backpack

And a long fish filleting knife with black plastic handle.
