So cycle lab is selling the bundle for these at a cheap price is it worth using it I have. The product they selling is about 7-20 years old. Although they don't state this rider confirms it's discontinued long ago. But seems good enough as a basic unit

Looks like the Garmin Edge 705 from back then.

That Garmin had more than enough features for the average user.

Hopefully the Bryton is similar.

20 years old would raise concerns about battery life though.

I was able to change the battery on my 705 and was still using it not so long ago.

Only changed in order to have something that was radar compatible.

As far as I know Bryton is no longer distributed in SA so if you do have issues there is no backup. For a more budget friendly gps I'd get one of those XOSS units. They are brought in by omnico.

Well for R700 odd bucks I think it’s decent enough to use until it doesn’t work anymore!

That's what I thought. Comes with speed sensor and hr. Can even buy 2 keep one as backup
