  1. their top end carbon and titanium gravel offerings are really nice too and extremely well priced...
  2. not sure what the problem is here...wait for the money to clear in your account and then ship the bike... if you were the buyer then it would be a different story...
  3. Greyton... We go to Hermanus every 10 days or so for a Woolies shop...otherwise everything is available in Greyton..
  4. https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5ONG_oLLvR/
  5. Greyton... I ride from home, never ever use the car here even to go to the shops. We have awesome trails [I am currently involved in trail building and development] and the gravel riding is second to none. Relatively safe, houses still affordable and only 1 hr from Hermanus... Cme and spend a week here... greytonmtb.co.za am currently updating the .gpx files and routes
  6. maybe we can start a dedicated thread where we discuss and advise on interesting bike related items bought successfully on TEMU... perhaps rename this thread to something along those lines....
  7. looks to me like the steerer is bigger than the hole in the stem
  8. Hi Arno...I think people are upgrading and from what I have seen here in Greyton more and more people are getting into the discipline.
  9. I would not attempt it for safety's sake...would you honestly trust a reamed out stem not to fail while riding??
  10. sorry but it is the 1st April...
  11. just reduce the diameter of the steerer on a lathe...
  12. does it come to your address with a courier or do you have to go to a local PO?
  13. Naked insurance...all done through the app...download it and get a quote...works really well...
  14. just get the one you pump up...works really well, takes up no space...much much simpler and cheaper
  15. https://www.extremelights.co.za/collections/bicycle-lights/products/trail-rechargeable-bicycle-light nothing comes close at this price
  16. Squirt with beadblock is completely useless...worst sealant I have ever tried [and I have used dozens]... Enduro or Orange Seal
  17. all the above points very valid...fit and comfort, hence you HAVE to go to the shop and try them on...and with your eyewear too... and MIPS [or equivalent] a no-brainer you cannot buy a helmet on recommendations [like a saddle]
  18. wow...really cool bikes and specs...they will do well in SA when compared to the very similar looking but totally overpriced Epics
  19. I would buy the Grizl...end of story...
  20. depends where you ride...here in Greyton I ride gravel on the roads and then do some singletrack too...lots of fun. Some of the gravel routes are quite rough and the Lefty Oliver Ocho on my Topstone definitely works and is very welcome...
