3 hours and 6 minutes of climbing up HC cols today. 3 HOURS.

From the stage profile, it looked like it was all climbing!

Beside some early accelerations,  today was just survival for Adam. Making it in with the group and before the time cut was the order of business.

Over 5000 kJ's, but only a TSS of 309, which makes it a long ride, but not too intense.  I am sure those first accelerations hurt after the rest day, but I also know Adam was glad to have it.  On the Lombarde climb, Adam rode a nice steady tempo, but by the time the Bonette-Restefond climb came around, which was 2 hours long!, it was endurance pace.
