I'm 6FT 1. Would a 56 Colnago frame be far to small for me?

You would probably be on the limit. You would need a longer seatpost and handlebar stem. First get yourself measured at your lbs before buying the bike.

Depends on the top tube length. Ive got a 60cm colnago, and im 183cm tall.

I think so yes....

I am 6 Ft 3 and a 59 is a small fit for me. It all depends on what you prefer.

You will need a long seatpost to make the 56 Colnago fit.
