Hunter Alan's Comments:

Congratulations ADAM!   You did it!
What a great tour and finish in Paris.
Most of the day was spent riding easy and enjoying the last stage, over 50% of the stage was spent in Active Recovery zone and 28% of the time spent NOT pedaling today. A normalized power of 197 watts for nearly 3 hours gave everyone a chance to breath easy and joke around in the tour.
In the last hour in Paris though, the race was on like normal. 359 watts normalized in the last 58 minutes at an average speed of 30.9mph!     Adam had his hands full trying to keep things together for Ciolek and the final sprint.  Those last 7 minutes, as we have seen in the past,  are full gas with Adam averaging 463 watts normalized for the time at a average speed of 33.3mph.  It paid off with a fine 2nd place finish by Ciolek and had not Steegmans made the brilliant move that he did, Team Columbia might had scored another stage win!

Look for articles on Adam's data on our site in the future and thanks again to SRM for providing us and  you with this amazing data set.
Till Next year- Hope you have enjoyed the analyses.
