i'm looking to buy myself these pair of wheels. If any of you have a pair of them please let me know how they are, how good they are,

Are they strong and are they worth the money??

great buy nice light weight wheels but in the past american classic hubs have been known for their unreliability

GT - if you're a lightweight kinda fellow I'd say go for it....My 420's haven't given me a day of trouble for the last three years

Had a set on my previous bike, had no problems with them - never had to true them, although replaced bearings. I did hear that they improved on the original bearing fitted though.

 

Lekker light - put mine on the scale and came in at under 1,5kg for the set incl skewers.

I've had no problems with any of the AM sets we ride. 8 sets in total, road 420's and mtb 26. Brilliant wheel...i'd buy em again.

I have had no problems with mine in the first year. Done about Km6000 on them. They are light.

Have about 2000k's on mine so far, mostly offroad, including a few races. No problems at all. Mine came in at 1540g, which is plenty light. I think they're unbeatable at the price.
