I broke the other end on mine - in my driveway as I was clipping in.

 

Thank goodness I kept my old pair of Time Impacts.

Sounds very hard to belief. On the picture they look like they've done more than two rides though....

I've ridden them all...equip, impact and rxs. Never a days trouble (even from the recall). Maybe check your shoes out...looks like they've got teeth underneath, those pedals look way used, worse than my RXS Carbon bought this Jan.
