[/quote'] Nice meeting you Spud. How was your ride? Hi Onetime. it was awesome. stuck to game plan and finished in 18 hrs 6 min. 2 hours earlier than expected. I had no pain or stiffness at all and I am ready to ride again. Chappies did really well for a guy who came in off the bench and hadnt seen 60km on a MTB until the first checkpoint!!! he suffered quite a lot thru the last 60 but wot a hero, bit the bullet and didnt moan once. How did you guys do, you looked very strong.

How did you guys do, you looked very strong. We had a great ride and did a 15hrs 54 min. The climbs that everybody spoke about was not that bad. Will do it again next year.You guys looked ready to rumble on the start and good to hear you had a great ride. Well done to you and your partners.

That section after checkpoint 7 we had a demon taking us up so we rode like mad men.
