I'm reffering to the resulting watts on the ground - I guess, that there'll be some power going through the front wheel as a result of him pulling on his bars...

 

I wonder if he created tire smoke when his wheel touches the ground again.

He is the leadout man, this is his way of slowing down sufficiently so that Boonen can get past him. He wouldn't want to embarrass Boonen and finish ahead of him.

Maybe he's strong like Vernon Koekemoer, and has churned such big torque, that he's spinning the world, and has done a bunny-hop and waiting to land at the finish line...
