Dun Man Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 I have a Felt with, 9 speed Tiagra shifters, front derailer and 105 BD, The crankwheels are the triple type 50.39.30. My question is: would it benefit me to upgrade from this because I never use the small ring. I am getting reasonably fit and is starting to average +_30kmph on 60km+ rides. I love the bike because the geometry is relaxed with a 73dgree seat angle. The bike is a 61cm. Thanks Folks!
Delgado Posted August 23, 2008 Posted August 23, 2008 If you dont need the 30 then consider a double compact 50/34 set up as it might be a better option!! And you cut some weight off the bike!!
