Don't make me post my Trek...

My Scalpel weighs just over 10kg, and that's a 2.2kg frame. My Trek has similar parts and that frame is about 1.6kg, so you're looking at about 9.2kg for the bike.

Ok, I will post it Cool

Gimmi a couple of days, she's a little dirty right now.

Bike is very light, you could get it down to 6.7 with some tinkering though. Wheelset consists of ZTR RACE 7000 rims, Tune Prince and Princess hub with Ti axles and ceramic bearings, spokes are Pillar Ti LTD edition made for Spitz

Okay I lied, with some serious tinkering you could get this bike down to 6.4 Kgs, thats with no cutting up of anything and using the same frame.

My Scalpel is sitting at a polony skin over 10kg and thats with a pretty average build.

Awaiting:

Formula R1 Disc brakes

ZTR Race 7000 rims (budget allowing)

KMC Gold Ultralight chain.

Si Headshok Lefty SL w/DLR2 2009 (Feb 2009)

Looking for:

Fi'zi:k Arione thats MTB approved but sub 180gr. Carbon rail version on my roadie is not suitable for MTB apparently.

Parts still to fit:

Hutchinson Python Tubeless Ready to replace COntinental MOuntain King 2.2 UST. Thats a 350gr difference in weight right there.

Once the R1's arrive, I'll lose another 240gr (XT BR-M775 is heavy but strong).

Currently build is:

Cannondale Scalpel Carbon 100 (Patriot Blue)

Si Lefty 110 Fox Terralogic TT

Si Hollowgram II SL 29x44

Si Lefty Integrated XC3 Stem Steerer 90mm

Shimano XTR WH-M975 Lefty wheelset

Shimano Dura Ace FD-7800

Shimano Deore XT BR-M775 Servo Wave Disc brake set

SRAM X.0 Gripshift

SRAM X.0 rear Derailleur

SRAM PC-971 chain

KCNC SC Bone Scandium fat bar

KCNC Ti Pro Lite 8000 Scandium Seat post

TEK Bar ends

Elite patao bidon cage

Fi'zi:k Arione CX Kium 225gr saddle

Crank Bros Eggbeater SL pedals

JagWire Ripcords cable set - Day Glo red
