The new BH G4 ULTRALIGHT model, weighing only 5.4 kg (medium size), has become one of the lightest manufactured bikes on the market, proving once again BH?s commitment to improving the performance and quality of their catalogue.

The Alava company?s ultralight bicycle comes equipped with the new 11 speed Campagnolo Super-Record and American LEW wheels (manufactured using the latest aerospace technology). The Global Concept G4 PRO, with nanotechnology and integrated seat post made to measure for each customer, has a FSA plasma monocoque handlebar and a Prologo C-One saddle.

The features of the new BH model make it a market benchmark. A lighter bicycle that hasn?t lost any of its already proven usefulness, reliability and rigidity.

I heard SRAM will bring out a Red ultimate gruppo (not sure of the name) which will be Red with Zipp Vuma cranks and Zero Gravity brakes. This wil be the lightest gruppo, I would guess weight will be around 1900 grams, berhaps a bit under.

I cant remember the claimed mass, Super Record is supposed to be close to standard Red in weight, both a couple of grams under 2000. I have not seen real weight (as opposed to claimed) posted yet.

Pretty sweet, SRAM are suppossedly also developing a new MTB groupset, aka, X.X. Should include a Avid's Juicy Ultimates, a X.X specific crank, very similar to the Noir, though supposedly 80 grams lighter. Big news is however that they are gonna apparently be building a Sram MTB specific wheelset, ala Zipp technology, got a 1200 gram target weight.
