SRAM is by farthe best IMHO!!

Have been using it on the MTB for just over 2 years now and not ONE day of maintenance required yet....

Not one.

 

Did my Epic with SRAM with no mechanical issues. 

 

 

 

I hear it works so well that you are actually considering getting yourself a SRAM Red groupset!!Wink

The SRAm MTB groupset is great I have been using them for more than a year now(X-O) and no proplems. It s a harder and crisper feel than shimano. Shimano is smooth and quieter. The sram fsounds a bit mechanical but shofts excellent. I think it is a less.. how do you spell this finiky than shimano, especially dual control lever.

If you are looking at roadbike, I had a look at the rival set rear derailluer cosmetics looks hard. Shifting is going to be a lot different since you shift up and down with same lever. Press it lightly/tap it and it shifts down. and to shift up you press it. The brake lever doesnt move with the shift lever and I like the ergonomics of the hoody and lever.

I want to get the SRAM for my road bike as well
