Tyre Size

Hi Guys

Trying to set the polar up for two bikes

It wants the wheel diameter of bike 2, which happens to be a moutain bike.

Do you guys know what size the Ignators 2.6x2.1 are ??

Dont feel like using the tape measure right now ..Embarrassed

Just looked at the tyre it says 47-559, equating to 2022 cm diameter - but then its labelled as a 26x2.1, which if I read the polat table correctly is 2054.

Any ideas on which one is correct ?

The table reading is fine 26 x 2.0 = 2054, stick that figure in and you'll be fine. A wider tyre does not make the length/width of the wheel any different as the magnet sits on the spoke, not the tyre.

Hope this helps.

Clap

other than some of that sticky white stuff all over the place ... all went well

*note to all other potential tubeless goers :  make sure more of the sticky stuff stays inside the tyre than on you.*

Those Maxxis USTs are nothing to LUST over' date=' they weigh a ton.[/quote']

RacerX, thanks for that - so I should use 2054, and not the others ?

The LUST's are on the back, crossmarks....front is the ignitors, are they also Lust?

The tyres also have this number of them (47-559), should I rather use 2022, or should I use the 2054 number?

47-559     26 x 1.95             2022

52-559      26 x 2.0              2054

how much of a difference will it make which number I use?
