ASk BigBen what a shock looks like after I have serviced it !!!! And it was a "easy" spring shock as you like to call it .

Yip I can confirm that said shock now has no rebound, no compression, no 'spring'. In fact a rigid has more 'give' ............. LOL

Thx BB, can you recall what went wrong? Did you learn anything from the experience? Would you try again?

smiley36.gif What went wrong ?? Mmmmmm I did the opposite of what Johann said , i.e stripped it in the dirt , not looking at what goes where , drinking huge amounts of beer etc . After the "service" I had a handfull of funny stuff still lying around and I assumed that it was unneeded stuff that just added weight anyway .

Well, at least you know now how to carry-out a rigid fork conversion Wink

Ok, thank you very much all of you for your advice. I think I'll go for it. I have bugger all to do anyways during the weekend (after riding, of course). I'll give you an update.

Thanks, guys! Big%20smile
