XT Wheelset - Purchase Advice

I am about to purchase as used XT Wheelset

 

Any advice at what to look for when viewing them to determine that they are in good shape?

Make sure they are round!

Check bearings spoke tension trueness and if they have a hop in them and if you are sceptical then dont take them also check the Rim itself where the tyre bead fits onto the rim and check for dents if it has a dent it has hit a rock or pavement badly and it would mean you need to buy a new rim so you would be wasting your money buying that wheelset
