Stripping paint off frame

I want to take the paint off a Alu frames.What i s the easiest and safest way to do so?

How many coats of paint should i respray it.

How many coats of clear coat.

 

Then what to do with the carbon fork.

YOu can use paint stripper to strip the frame but not the fork. A nice coat of primer and a thin coat of quick drying base colour. Apply decals. 2-3 thin coats of clear and let dry. Water sand the edges around the decals untill they are flush with the rest f the clear coat. Will halp if youuse high quality decals as the material is thinner then cheap stuff. Now give it a nice coat of clear and let dry. You need to keep it as thin as possible so that everyhing your bolting on like seat collar and front derailleur still fits.

Thanks Mampara.I am getting decals from the factory so thats not a problem.I guess i would use a very fine water paper.

What paint stripper should i use.
