barrykm Posted November 4, 2008 Share Raleigh SA's website is featuring some apparent price reductions on their 2008 bikes http://www.raleigh.co.za/breakaway-deals.php Top-featured RC 7000 Alloy is advertised for R13,735, and the RC 6000 Alloy for R9,800. What thoughts on the value offered, and of either of these two bikes for recreational club riding and finishing at the back of roadraces? Eugene Posted November 5, 2008 Share In 2008 Raleigh bikes were way over priced. These reductions have brought their prices in line with other 2008 brands. The RC6000 Alloy is listed at R9 800.00. Cyclopro in PE and Action Cycles are selling the RC6000 Carbon for R9 999.00. That is a bargain. Considering the huge expected increased for 2009, those bikes might just be a good buy.
