So we went to go and see a Dietician about 2 months ago.  She worked out an awesome "lifestyle" eating plan.  Nothing weird, nothing fancy.  That nothing weird and nothing fancy eating plan made me loose about 4.5 - 5 kg and 20.5 cm, and hubby lost about 4 kg. That is in 2 months. I have almost no more clothes that fit me. So shopping spree. Big%20smileBig%20smile

perhaps wait a bit for the jo. that's the second part of the jo-jo effect

Not going to happen. Yoyo diets are those that advertise magic "cheat 'n eat" type rubbish. What me and lpeens are doing now is eating the foods we always used to eat, just the proper portions at the right time of the day.

You'll be surprised how much you can loose by eating correctly and cutting out the junk.

I guess it can happen anytime...as soon as you stop doing whatever helped you to loose the weight.

Correct, but "stopping" would mean you are going back to eating incorrectly. Its not like you are stopping taking a diet supplement. We don't take any pills or stupid shakes.

keep it up then! I once lost 8 kg's in about 4 months, simply by excercising more-but not hecticly (and I was never actually overweight). still ate sh*t though. lots of it.

I have lost 21kg due to a proper eating plan and eating correctly and have even been able to keep my weight the same for a year now including two months of layoff in the winter....

Well done guys!

My sister is a dietician, and the one thing she preaches is eating the right amounts at the right times. There are small thing one can do to help the process, like cutting back on (but not removing) carbs for supper.

Not that I'll ever take advice from my little sister though! I hate it when people tell me what to do! Wink

Hog, she's right with her preaching, 100%.

My supper at night includes 180g meat, 2 breads (about 1 cup of pasta), and as much veg as you want. If you get creative you can do like home made chinese veg with stirfried chicken strips etc. SO many options, and the weight just keep dropping. The dietitian is actually going to increase my food intake once I reach 75kg, my ideal weight, (I'm 76kg now, 1.87m tall), to get me to maintain and not loose more.

At 1.85m and 76kg you are by no means overweight.

You should work out your bodyfat %. With those stats you should be around 10%, and that is brilliant in anybody's books. Now you should do some weight training and get those abs to show Clap.

I was off the bike for 5 months after breaking my wrist. Weight went from 80 to 88kgs.since I started riding again I've already lost 2 kg, but want to drop back to 78 kg (what I weighed after Epic 2006.) I just stopped eating sweets, and munchies in between is healthier, still eat 6 mkeals a day, but instead of gorging at lunc and first break, I eat less, and snacks are now fruit or whole weat sarmies.

I do feel way better, and I swear the healthier eating is helping with my studies, I think the dedreased sugar intake definitely helps with my ADD.

Now as soon as exams are finished (thursdayBig%20smile,) the training time will multiply...
