Physios have no training in the treatment of cycling specific injuries, so this course is a first. (Which of course doesn't imply that there are a lot of physios out there, doing a sterling job and have done their homework in this area.)

Yeah my physio first stuck some needles in my leg, (acu-nonsense!) then she had a infra red massage machine stuck to my leg for 15 min a time. After my second session she said she could advise a 5grand operation which means cutting out a piece of my ITB if her methods failed.

Google told me to use some ice and lots of specialized stretching ) b4 and after training, it did the job, injury free for 4  years now.
