Granted' date=' it is difficult to greet someone going at 80km/h, exactly just as it is difficult doing 3.10min/km while running. [/quote']

It is easier to cycle 80km/hr than run 3min/km.  But winking a bulging eye is also a greating.Wink

I always great every one, but lately iv noticed that very very few cyclists in WP great anyone. They just ride past as though your not there. If your lucky they will take a glance at you. They all seem to stick to themselves, they hate having a 'random' riding with them. Any where else in the country people always great you.

I greet most people I pass - and by and large get greeted by most!

I do go over the top and greet most roadies exuberantly  - just cause I know that most of them do not greet back, it gives me a kick! Why is that? Confused

If you are on a mtb when you great "most roadies exuberantly"  when you pass them, and that gives you a kick, then you have mastered the basics of fairy hunting.

Welcome to the dark side.Hug

Out on our club ride around Camps Bay this weekend, we greeted every runner that we saw (with long hair, tight/short shorts and crop tops) so it must be the Joburg riders that are the unfriendly lot.........Wink
