Andy, get off it man. Your climbing ability almost puts Cancellara to shame so saying 94.7 isn't your bag is a cop-out, 'k?

If you can ride Paris-Roubaix then you should be able to do 94.7 almost blind folded.

I,ve seen you climb those hills in the nature reserve and I can't recall anything remotely as difficult in 94.7.

Always remember, keep it real and Trubie is watching you.

Well Cancellara isn't really a climber.

Paris - Roubaix is flat, long, but flat.

That is the problem. Give me hills like that and I can do well, the rolling undulations of 94.7 are not big climbs like the reserve. But give me the Argus with those climbs and I like it.

Cancellara is not a climber?! Andy...dude, the boy can climb, trust me on this one. (I do know what you mean!)

I would love to ride that Paris Roubaix sportive event as well. But, I love my bike way too much to torture it like that!!

Yes he can climb, but he is no Schleck or Contador.

I know just how to conquer the cobbles-you have to ride them as fast as you can. Also have you tyre pressure slightly lower.

Andy slightly lower tyre pressures to the owl mean 9 bar.

Good to see you again birdman. Why so quiet?

Andy, reason I equated your climbing abilities to cancellara was simple. I have seen you and I have seen the owl man. Now birdbrain I would out in the class of a schelck or contador.

You're good at climbing, no doubt about it, but I have seen one or two better. No disrespect intended man. Damn good, just maybe not the best if you follow my meaning.

In short, maybe you are not a fan of the 94.7 route but you are capable of so much more than the gaol you set yourself for that.

I expect my teenager to be able to do it in the time you set yourself, and he's unfit right now.

Andy, if you can do a 2H15 for the SBR then I would say you could easily break 2H30 for 94.7

I've ridden the Pave' in and around Arenburg and your correct about the approach to riding em B@lls out...but bare in mind you need 25profile tyres as well!

Slave...just been doing some core training (power walks!) coz its been too cold! Will be in the new saddle some time soon!

Andy, if "Simon says" then you have to do.

Haal uit en wys boeta.

As far as my SO is concerned, evrything is either myth or "gospel according to "Simon says"".

"Simon" once told her she couldn't ride. Up till that point I had some vague interest in maybe, someday, she would think about it. Talk to her now about riding. Man, she'll kill ya. The "gospel of Simon" is that she should not ride therefore she will not, EVER ride a bike.

GO, of course you sold the "Prince" didn't you. So now you relegated to walking. You sound like the Oxman only he's running to cycle. You walking. Eish, going to be intesting to find out which one yileds the better results.

You want to borrow a bike to ride for a bit.Nothing fancy, just some wheels waiting on a new owner who will enjoy. Until you get your new wheels, you're wlecome to use it.

Where do you live Slave? In the Sahara Desert somewhere? But I do agree that at 110 degrees it may be a bit dangerous to cycle so wise decision!
