Anyway...see you guys on the road tomorrow?!

Os' date=' was your running at the sports complex near Damelin in Randburg? How is your patent application going? I need that technology asap!! [/quote']

GOv3' date=' I might see you there tomorrow. The plan is to go down south for a loop. The length will obviously depends on how the legs feel tomorow. I did a 90km MTB ride today is some BLISTERING heat. It took us forever to complete the ride due to that. Nance measured temperatures of up to 50 on her Polar[img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley3.gif[/img]

AndyR, Yip, that was the one! Apparently they had a pretty good turnout last night! I walked back home on the route the mug they handed out to finishers, and received plenty of comments.

It was a great event, and the courage at the back is something to behold!  I went to help clean up between the 7 and 8 km mark, and the second last pair of people was a dad and his young daughter. Pretty gutsy of her to attempt this! The last pair was 2 ladies (They were all walking, and I reckon they would have finished at just over the 2 hour mark for the 10kms

Re the patent, I can't say much as I need prior approval of the DOD...

AndyR, did you write exams today? How did it go?

The course I am on is at Damelin. Lots of people around when we came out at 2130. Went to get dinner at MD's and there was a queue of runners there. Seemed like quite a good atmosphere.

I write two of the board exams on Tuesday and Wednesday.

I'm kinda broken... 10km run Friday evening, 90km MTB(1300m ascent) in blistering sun today...

Long will prob be the easier of the two! Guys aren't mental the whole way like with short loop! Come long Ox man. We can both hang at the back - hang on for dear life at the back smiley2.gif

Hmm.. I struggle more with the long route than the short one. On the long route  the wind at the section leading back to the R59 usually tend to make me drop out the back.. However' date=' it has been a while since I've ridden with the groups down south.

Gonna try and NOT hang at the back. That place is dangerous! Concertina effects and too easy to drop off the back [img']https://assets.bikehub.co.za/legacy_images/smilies/smiley2.gif[/img]

Gonna try and get some shut eye. As tired as a dog, had only 4,5 hrs of sleep last night. Was too tired to even have a proper cat nap this afternoon. Might be due to the sun/heat...

Sanity check: Seems to be raining down south? Is doing in Rburg... Should I watch the cricket, or go cycling down south?
