I made that remark on purpose because it would be something Kid would say.

Oh ok.

In the non-drafting events are you allowed TT bikes?

Indeed yep.. Full triathlon bike, does not have to be UCI legal etc :)

And this would be an all bling, no bang for the buck bike I'd guess?

Well it is so fast the UCI have declared it illegal!

And it is one of the best looking TT bikes around!

It had a nose cone that was not part of the structural design of the bicycle ;) Think it also violated the 3:1 rule as well?

If looks mattered more than anything else, I would have gone LOOK

Yes, I know. As far as I know the 3:1 rule is more for components than frame structure. I read an article in Cycle Sport earlier in the year that analysed TT bikes and components. Most manufacturers were violating the 3:1 rule with their aero bars. I think only Radio Shack and one other team's TT bikes were 100% compliant.

Hey guys. Wasn't able to make it to the office yesterday. SO is not well and she needed to go to the hospital. So pretty much spent the day running around sorting out things with medical aid and all that junk.

Seems the "Southern cycling" thread has been hijacked by the "northern runners association". :P

My ride for the weekend has gone up in another blown sidewall of the rear tyre. Had to push the bike for over an hour to get into the office today and won't be able to make any repairs before Sunday.

On the upside, I have found out what the problem is. (Nothing to do with the tyres. Them Gators are good. )

The NRA ;) I like :D

After my IDT session last night (8min intervals), the run this morning did not go down so well. Legs are still achy. Just need to get used to the current program, and then the pain will hopefully translate into strength.

I am doing the slow Nampak loop on Sunday.

See you at Xumbugs Ha Ha. I will be in my Saxo Bank kit. Red top with white Swiss cross on it. On and I will be on my Trek again! ;)

What is the problem then? Bontrager wheels perhaps? ;)

Awesome Ha Ha.

I know Trubie is racing out of town.

Kid will be there with Hummy and Mini Kid.

Who is is riding at Xumbugs?

Slave, you going to get your problem fixed? You have missed a few days riding so legs should be fresh! :)

PrincessHannah?

Anyone else?

Slight misalignment of one of the brake blocks. It has worn into a nice sharp edge that is wrecking the tyres and cutting into the tubes.

Had 3 flats this morning and the major irritation is that I have been relieved of not just my trailer recently, but my entire toolbox as well.

If I can get the bike home today, I will ride on Sunday. Will have to see if I can McGiver a plan. Have arranged a lift home, but I want to ride Sunday, so busy scheming another plan to get home with the bike.

Thanks Ha-Ha. Trubie still has one or two I can get off him, but I need to fix the cause before I go riding any significant distance again. At least I know what it is and how to fix it. :)

If I see you all on Sunday then you know I managed to get sorted.
