Slave Posted November 29, 2010 Author Posted November 29, 2010 Dumbass that I am, it took me way too long to read the writing on the wall. The last straw (and ultimate rejection for me was when we arrived "home" on Saturday and she went straight to the PC to go and check out who was interested in her on "Are you interested?" A facebook dating thing. So I went for a walk to cool down and then decided to get a bottle of whisky instead. Posted my feeling on FB and she went balistic. Said I was dissing her because I stated a fact. Anyway, sad as it may be to walk away from 11 years, it's a done deal. If it were any more over, it would be somewhere out near the outer reaches on the solar system. Now I can ride all the bikes and indoor trainers I want. Not that I am lookning for any indoor trainers right now. They are just too complicated.

Andyr249 Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 How was the riding/running this morning? I did a great Spruit ride with Nancy. Got a few drops of misty rain but nothing that really wet us. Nice, relaxed cycle without worrying about speed, distance etc. I like the Spruit, it appeals to my inner rally ambitions.

Oh well, going to get back on track with the IDT tonight as it does not look like the crit will be a good idea, but who knows.. maybe the weather will clear? Will get blood results again tomorrow, so see whether the recent tiredness is due to too much training, or too little iron...

If I am going to pay that price for whisky then it will be JW Black and then again, if I pay that price for whisky, I will drink it like a civilised person. Not like the mine working savage that had no "off switch". Besides, the bottle is almost empty.
