Get a handbuilt set with XT or XTR hubs, DT revolution spokes and any decent rim.  If you are going tubeless, get a tubeless specific rim like the XM819 from Mavic.

Just dont get Sunringle Eq21 rims. Its a bastard to put certain Tubeless tyres on, if you converted the rim to tubeless ready. Kenda and Hutchinson's will not fit on it.
