Integrated Stem Handlebar- Yes or No?

Should I get an integrated stem handlebar for my new bike or stick with the separate handlebar and stem?

 

And, erm, why?

Depends if you fiddle with settings or are absolutely spot on in setup?

 

If yes and you stll want integrated (and got cash to spend) go Cinelli RAM.........

Downside is not being as adjustable as a stem and bars as two items, but upside is looks (imo) and it's a stiffer bar for sprints than a bar and stem as two items.

Go seperate. More options and difference is negligible in feel IMO

Thanks guys. Not so sure with the stiffness- at my level I doubt that I would notice. But re the looks- yep they look awesome.

 

I'm looking at the CKT set. I can't convert the PDF file to jpeg otherwise I'd post it. Colour coded to the frame.

 

Re measurements. I've still got t look at this in detail, measuring from my shoulder to knuckles and top tube and stem.

Especially when it comes to carbon bars/stem make sure there are plenty layers of carbon. Dont look at cost saving as it may be to ones detriment. The RAM bars have 10 layers......
