advice please!!!Big%20smile

looks like i've got me dirty paws on an old topanga frame and fork. what do you reckon: would you try restore it to original spec; or would you try give it a modern makeover?

i have a sordid love affair with Topanga's.

how old is old?

what needs replacing?

and most importantly:

do you already have a SS in your quiver?

Hey, I used to have one of those back in 1994. It was an emergency purchase will I was away from home on a project. A bit crappy compared to my beloved Univega Alpina Pro, but it did the job. I would say give it the SS treatment!

from what i understand, it's late '90s; it's just a frame and fork; and, yup, i have two: a "cyclo-cross bike on 'roids" (hog's description) and a fixie.

Had a D/B Topanga as a student in the 90's - fond memories - broke my collarbone in Tokai and took it to London where I worked as a surveyor on different sites - so toured London on my bike - sold it up there before returning - sad day - oh and it was pink
