Discriminating race organisers

So all the race organisers out there making a packet with their races paying up to and more than R 50 000 prize money why do you discriminate against vet ladies racing your races. No prize money for vets ladies.

 

It really is a shame. When will you get your act together????

FOURFEET, have you contacted the appropriate people regarding this? Generally that's the most constructive move.

I have yet to meet a race organiser that makes a "packet", but I imagine there is not sufficient competition in the age category to warrant separate prize money.

I know from experience that if organisers pput up and advertise a wider spread of reasonable prizemoney the entries do improve in the lesser categories

My experience as a race organiser is if you give equally across all age and sex sprectrums, and heavily promote that you are doing so,  the race demongraphics will eventually reflect some of that, although females will  be over rewarded.
