evening

i am new to cycling and got myself a rc6000 '08 model, m size with a std 105 group set.

i am looking to test a compact crank but not sure about the crank arm lenght's.

my current bike has the 172.5, will it be advisable to take a 175mm with the compact crank ?

please advise.. thanx

thnx Agteros, i have been reading up online now and there are alot of different opinions out there.

what i mostly realised now was that there is much more to it that what i first thought.

i think ill get some quotes from shops tomorrow and also ask there opnion, for now i think as i am comfortable on the the 172.5, i should probably keep that lenght.

Forget about the crank's length. You won't notice any difference. If the 175mm crank is on the bike you want, that's the bike for you.
